Well that was exciting... I have been launched into the world and I am now officially online. Let me know if the website is user friendly please and what I can do to develop it.

I now need to investigate how you can add comments to my blog posts. In the meantime send me an email if you fancy it! Enough of this website business onto making and pestering my family and friends to promote my website, shop and blog :o)

I look forward to hearing from you,

    Jo

Hello and welcome to my blog page. Keep up to date with my designing and making journey here.

    Firstly a little about me...

I am a Wife and Mum of two. I have a daughter who is 19 years old and currently in University studying Acting and my son is 8 years old. I work full time as a Primary School Teacher. I love all things arty and I will have a go at making anything, I am at my happiest when I'm being creative and I thought that I would share this with the world! Why not? I'm 45 years old and what do I have to lose? There's nothing on TV anyway and I may as well spend my time doing something that I enjoy.

Today I am enjoying creating this website, shop and blog page. It's a bit addictive I have to say! I really should be doing the housework and washing but find that this is a lovely distraction instead.

I'm currently working on an order of cards for a local gift shop and I'm looking at printing some Aprons- I will let you know how I get on!! I love seeing the things I make all completed and packed. It makes me feel very proud.

My plans for this year are to make a series of things within a range. For example having a range called 'In the Garden' and designing and making a variety of Lino cut art from that topic. I have already started it with the Bee lino cut print.

I only wish I had more time on my hands to do much more of this type of thing. For now at least I'm enjoying doing whatever I can in the small amount of time I have to do it.

Please feel free to comment on my blog page. If you are a fellow Crafter or Artist or you have a passion for anything that is handmade I would love to hear from you. I look forward to your constructive feedback and any ideas you may have for future designs.

    Kind regards,

    Jo
